Hello and thanks for checking out our website.
My name is Shane. Our business name “Shanedrives” is a play on the words “Chain drive”.
Shanedrives LLC has been around since ’96 although it was a part time business based out of our home for almost 8 years like many MC businesses were and still are today. Prior to ’96 I worked at an HD dealership for 6 years. I took on as much factory training as I could during those years. The dealer owner is who gave me the nickname Shanedrive.
After leaving the dealer in ’96 we started our “part time” business. While employed at the dealership, I was not allowed to perform work on the side however, I had taken a position at S&S Cycle in their technical dept. They didn’t seem to have a problem with a guy having a passion for motorcycles and the part time business kept going. It was at S&S where my learning curve went straight up! I was allowed to think outside of “HD’s Box”. S&S offered me the tremendous opportunity to feel the motorcycle industry “pulse” on a worldwide scale. I made a lot of friends and contacts during my time at S&S. I still keep in contact with many of these people.
After 7 years at S&S, we struck out on our own fulltime. When I say “we” I mean my wife and I. We’re a true mom ‘n pop shop but with the ability to do just about anything you can imagine except paint. If you’re looking for paint work, visit Ryan at www.paragoncustoms.com He can paint anything you’d like and it doesn’t have to be a bike.
We work on anything HD from about 1929 on up except the single cylinder light weights. We also are capable of diagnosing and repairing EFI bikes as well as performance upgrades to them. If it is performance you want either EFI or carb, the possibilities are endless. I suggest that you have a budget you’re willing to dedicate to the project. From there I can give you a number of different scenarios from mild to wild depending on what you’re willing to spend.
Our main bread ‘n butter here at Shanedrives are the typical maintenance jobs such as oil changes, tires, brakes, charging systems, scheduled maintenances and more. It’s not all glory with high perf engines and wild paint schemes. What I’m trying to say is we’re a typically normal shop that will offer you dependable and very friendly service that can only be found at a mom ‘n pop shop but with the ability of a larger scale operation.
We hope to hear from you and thank you for stopping by our website.
